When our youngest child was looking for a job during the summer of 2023 she applied at a little cafe nestled in downtown Sumter, SC. As her parents and small business owners ourselves, Rob and I made many visits that summer to Brubaker’s Cafe and Bakery in support of our daughter. We quickly gained an admiration for all the good being created for our community while also becoming great friends with the owners! In early 2025, we partnered with Brubaker’s Café and Bakery with the goal of preserving the cozy cafe atmosphere and exceptional coffee that both we and the Sumter community had come to love, while bringing it to a new location. Although that location ultimately wasn’t the right fit, our commitment to great coffee and to the customers who appreciate it never changed. Today, we continue roasting the same coffee you know and love, with the same care and quality you expect. Your favorite roasted coffee is still here! Sumter Coffee Company is now available at local stores and farmers markets, or sent directly to your door.
